Pounce the Cat needs a home
Pounce and his housemate came to the rescue from animal control, where they ended up after their elderly owner passed away. His friend found a home, but Pounce is still waiting and hoping for his chance. He is 17 years old, hard of hearing, and has some chronic kidney issues. He is a gentle, unassuming old man with a big voice. He enjoys his special meals and a bit of extra spoiling. Overall, he still does very well. He is friendly and likes to be petted, but is content to curl up and nap. Pounce doesn't ask for much. While he is loved and receives excellent care at the clinic, it is a busy, sometimes noisy, and chaotic place. We would be delighted if some compassionate soul would like to provide Pounce with a nice, quiet home with an extra soft kitty bed where he can spend the rest of his days in peace. We had just taken away his chicken dinner for photos and it's clear that he would like to have it returned!
